After weeks of waiting we finally have the giveaway winner! Thank you Linda Loera Elias for participating! You are the winner of a virtual design consultation! I´ll contact you so you can send me pictures and measurements of the space you would like me to design. I made a video of the whole selection process, I wrote each of the names of the people who liked the facebook page, put them inside a vintage Nabisco can and chose the winner randomly. Art Love: Luis Cornejo

Hace unas semanas una amiga me introdujo las obras de Luis Cornejo artista Salvadoreño. Ella es la orgullosa dueña de una de sus obras, ” Once Upon a Time” el cuadro de la mujer vestida de Blanca Nieves.
Cornejo crea sus pinturas utilizando modelos de revistas, las fusiona con elementos de caricaturas, juegos de video y comics creando híbridos entre lo real y lo imaginario.
Estas imágenes son algunas de las pinturas que más me gustaron de el, espero un día no muy lejano tener una de sus obras en algún muro de mi casa.

Some weeks ago a friend introduced me the work of Luis Cornejo. She is the proud owner of one of his paintings “Once Upon a Time” the women with the Snow White dress.
Cornejo creates his paintings using as models pictures from magazines, fusing them with elements like cartoons, comics and video game characters in order to create hybrids between the real and the imaginary.
These images are some of the paintings I liked the most, I hope  to have one of his paintings hanging on my wall!

EM Blog First Anniversary!

Hoy es el primer aniversario del blog! No puedo creer que un año ha pasado tan rápido, para celebrar el primer año del blog abrí una pagina de facebook donde estaré compartiendo contenido extra, una extensión del blog. Haré un giveaway, lo único que tienen que hacer es darle like a la página de facebook e inmediatamente estarán concursando. Elegiré aleatoriamente al ganador y esa persona me mandará fotos de la parte favorita de su casa y ganará una consulta de diseño virtual, le entregaré un render de como se verá ese espacio.
